ART TEACHER TIP – The most challenging part of this whole process is getting the entire heart to print. The edges soften after stamping a few times, so the full heart shape prints.
How To Stamp Hearts
Step 1: Make The Heart
Push your finger in the center of the brown paper tube and pinch the end to make a heart shape.
Step 2: Dip Into The Paint
Stamp the heart shaped end into a color of paint on a paper plate of flat surface.
Step 3: Print On To Paper
Carefully stamp the painted side onto paper. Lightly rocking the tube back and forth might help print the whole heart shape.
Step 4: Fill The Paper
You may be able to get 2-3 heart prints before needed to dip back into the paint.
Step 5: Repeat With More Colors
Overlap different colored hearts to complete your stamping project.
Step 6: Let Your Print Fully Dry
Leave your painting on a flat surface to dry.
Tips
- Start with the lightest color or have multiple toilet paper rolls to work with.
