How To Make A DIY Snowman Activity
Before You Begin
Clean and dry your plastic water bottles. For reference, we used 20 oz. empty bottles. You will need a minimum of 25 cotton balls to fill each bottle.
Step 1: Draw Your Snowman Designs
Using a permanent maker to draw your snowman details. This could include drawing eyes, a carrot nose, a mouth, buttons, and a top hat. It is up to you how detailed you want to make your snowmen.
Step 2: Add A Scarf
Cut felt or wrap a pipe cleaner around the bottle.
Step 3: Feed The Snowman
Using a plastic tweezer, have a child pick up snowballs to fill the bottles.
Tips
- With older kids, make them put one hand behind their back to feed the snowman.
- To use this snowman activity as a winter party game, have students race to fill the bottle snowmen.
