#1 Ocean Habitat
Create a fun underwater scene with Dollar Store craft items and paint. These hot glue jellyfish also prove that you don’t always have to purchase small animals when you can make them.

One of our favorite tips is to add extra lighting inside your diorama. Small battery-operated tea lights are the perfect addition to any biome. Get more tips for building a shoebox ocean habitat here.
#2 Forest Diorama
Many animals call the forest home. This wolf diorama used ripped paper, small fake trees, and a cool wolf figurine to complete this animal habitat school project.

#3 Creative Crocodile Habitat With Resin Water
Skip the cardboard box and take your diorama to a whole other level by creating an underwater scene with resin.

Use a small plastic box, fill it with faux wildlife and crocodiles, then pour resin on top. Just make sure you give the project enough time to fully dry before taking it back to school.

#4 Arctic Fox Habitat
Ripped paper and a faux help create a chilly Arctic habitat perfect for these adorable foxes. Covering the outside of the shoebox was an easy way to add an extra chilly feeling.

#5 Tropical Flamingos
Adding a printed picture to the back of the diorama is an easy way to add depth.

#6 Horse Farm Diorama
Gather those craft supplies and just get to work on creating 3D landscapes. The hanging cotton ball clouds are our favorite.

#7 Cheetah Home With Simple Paper
Construction paper works well for creating a variety of 3-D features in your diorama. Create artwork for the background, or use a printed picture, to add character to your diorama.
