Equipment
- Water container
Supplies
- White Paper Heavy Drawing Paper, Watercolor Paper or Tagboard will work
- Watercolor Paint
- Oil Pastels
Instructions
- Draw 6 hearts on your paper.
- Outline the hearts with a permanent black marker.
- Use oil pastels inside the hearts. Kids can experiment and have fun with different oil pastel techniques.
- Add watercolor paint to the background. You can brush right over where you put oil pastels.
- Optional: Add salt or add paint splatters to your painting once it is dry.
Notes
- Use 9 x 12" paper or 12 x 18" white paper for this project.
- Premake a template or freehand the hearts.
