Instructions

  • Mix black glue by adding several squirts of acrylic paint into a half-empty bottle of glue. Shake thoroughly.
  • Draw flower sketches with a pencil or right away with black glue.
  • Let the glue fully dry.
  • Use watercolor paints in the background.
  • Use contrasting watercolor paints inside the flowers.
  • Let the painting fully dry.

Notes

  • Beginner painters can experiment with different watercolor techniques, such as adding salt to the wet paint, using plastic wrap to add texture, or other ways to blend colors by using a wet-on-wet technique.
