Elmer's Bottled Glue
Watercolor Paint
Heavy Drawing Paper or Watercolor Paper
Black Acrylic Craft Paint*
Instructions
Mix black glue by adding several squirts of acrylic paint into a half-empty bottle of glue. Shake thoroughly.
Draw or trace leaves with a pencil.
Use black glue to trace drawings.
Let the glue fully dry.
Use watercolor paints in the background.
Use contrasting watercolor paints inside the leaves.
Let the painting fully dry.
Notes
Experiment with different watercolor techniques when painting your leaves.
Consider using contrasting colors, such as cool colors in the background and warm colors inside the leaves.
Your black glue outlines do not have to be perfect.
